don't forget to schedule your DOT Safety Audit.
You must have a scheduled date for this inspection within 18 months of being granted your MC#. Failure to do so WILL result in the DOT putting you in "Out Of Service" Status.

SSRS Single State Registration System (Form RS-3)

The SSRS is a registration that must be renewed at the beginning of each year. Each states require fees if you travel in that state. The fees vary from state to state.

IFTA International Fuel Tax Agreement

The IFTA is a registration for carriers that have two axles and a gross vehicle weight exceeding 26,000 pounds. An IFTA renewal is required at the beginning of each year. The IFTA Agreement allows carriers to submit their quarterly road tax reports and payments to a base jurisdiction.

New York, Kentucky, New Mexico and Oregon charge an additional road tax above and beyond their charges for IFTA. Quarterly reports are filed in each State.

IRP International Registration Plan (Cab Card)

The IRP is a registration that must be renewed each year. The mileage for each state is estimated and one fee is paid to your base state.
